Lars Olsen - Director and principal Consultant/ADVISoR
Lars has been working in the public sector for state and national fisheries administrations since 2005, with nine of those years in senior management. He also spent nearly two years managing a commercial abalone and mussel farm, four years as a director of sales & marketing for a commodity trading/risk management software company and two years managing a commodity trading company.
Lars also worked for the Ministry for Primary Industries New Zealand as a Senior Fisheries Analyst/Advisor for Pacific Fisheries Management. This position offered fisheries management and governance expertise as well as capacity building support to Pacific fisheries administrations under a programme funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
